Muay Thai Fighter Max Annies Is Fighting For The English Title Next Month, Funding The Dream From A Shipbuilding Site
An English title fight next month, and a shipbuilding site standing between Max Annies and the gym. The Muay Thai fighter says he is a professional, and that the job is what pays for his training and his trip back to Thailand at the end of the year.
In a video he filmed himself under an open sky, Annies is blunt about it. "I absolutely hate this job," he says, but "what I would hate more is not being able to chase my dreams of becoming a Muay Thai World Champion." So he sticks it out.
That is the grind behind plenty of fighters on the rise: the title shot gets the headline, and the work that funds it happens somewhere nobody films. Annies is putting it out in the open, and he is asking for backing while he builds towards the fight.
His ask is simple. Follow him, share the video, and watch the content he puts out around his fights and training. He calls it the road to greatness, and the English title is the next stop on it.
