Kingsanglek Lands A High Kick And ONE Championship Calls The Knockout Unforgettable

ONE CHAMPIONSHIP. Kingsanglek has produced a knockout that ONE Championship says needs no introduction, and the footage shows why.

In the ONE ring, Kingsanglek turns his body and sends a high kick up and over the guard of his opponent in red shorts. The man in red is covering up with his gloves raised, but the leg comes in above the defence. It is a clean piece of kickboxing technique: the hips drive through, the shin travels high and the target has nowhere to go.

The promotion's verdict is blunt. It labels the finish a KO and leaves the clip to speak for itself. That is the right call. A high kick that lands on a guarded head ends fights because it arrives from the angle a fighter is not set to defend.

For Kingsanglek, it is another highlight in a division where one well-timed strike can change a career. Watch his next appearance for how he sets up the kick, and how much of his opponent's attention it takes before it lands.
