Corner Boxing Co Asks For Dirty Gym Secrets And The Confessions Include A Pretend Parent Chair And Very Loud Bag Work
"What's your dirty gym secret?" Corner Boxing Co put that question to a lad in a black tee, handed him a glove with a mic tucked inside, and got a confession booth's worth of answers.
He came clean on the bag first. Sometimes he lets out really loud sounds on the pads so everyone thinks he's hitting harder than he is. Then came the sparring dodge: when he doesn't fancy a round, he parks himself in the chairs and plays a parent so nobody notices he isn't gloved up.
The wraps got a mention too. By his own count they get a wash every two or three months, not a lot.
And the final line, delivered with a grin: after the first session of the day, he gets home too tired to shower and ends up falling asleep.
Every gym has a version of this. The honest ones just say it on camera. Drop yours in the comments and see how many of your teammates recognise it.
