Indigenous Knockout Is Coming: Sixteen Fighters, One Shot And Five Grand For The Winner

CAIRNS. Absolute scenes, mate. MBK Fight Co. and @thehoodcontender are putting on the debut of Indigenous Knockout: 16 fighters, one shot, and $5,000 for the winner. Winner takes all.

The contestants who've been picked have been contacted, and congratulations to every one of them. Now they need to get back to the crew with the name of their mob, plus a photo with arms crossed, shirtless, against a wall. Any footage of sparring, fighting or pad work helps too, and it doesn't have to be professional quality. Then the crew will be in touch personally with the next steps.

If you haven't applied but reckon you've got the stones, this is your last chance. DM @mbkfightco with your name or nickname, your age and your weight (75kg and up only), plus the photo and footage above.

The rules are simple. 16oz MMA gloves, 1-minute elimination rounds, no second chances. Serious contenders only: come ready to go to war, earn respect and put on a show.

The official fight date is still to be announced, so keep your eyes peeled and your gloves close.

At press time, a lot of blokes were reportedly doing push-ups against a wall.
